Comment
The City Swiss Club is one of the historic Clubs of the City of London. Dating from 1856, it has for over 145 years, and through two world wars, welcomed important guests, both British and Swiss – statesmen, politicians, businessmen, bankers, diplomats, civic figures, sportsmen, scientists and artists, giving them a forum to speak on a wide range of subjects.
The City Swiss Club has traditionally, played a leading role in the activities of the Swiss community in London.
