146th Anniversary Dinner & Ticinese Evening with Tombola

Unione Ticinese

INFORMATION

Celebrate the Unione Ticinese 146th Anniversary with an evening inspired by traditional Ticinese Cuisine and a couple of rounds of Tombola!

Previously known as the 'Carnevale', come along to help us celebrate Unione Ticinese's anniversay.

Ticino’s typical grotti are rustic eateries generally situated in set-back and shady areas. Characterised by a cool temperature, which remains constant all year round, thanks in part to vents in the rock that allow cold air to enter, they were the "fridges" of our grandparents. Today they have been opened to the public and many of them are fitted with granite tables and benches, where you can dine al fresco, beneath age-old, leafy trees.

We may not give you the full outdoor experience, but we will be offering some traditional dishes: minestrone, cold meats and cheese, and "Torta di pane" for pudding. And we will then play a couple of rounds of Tombola.

Keep an eye on the Unione Ticinese Facebook page or visit the UT website to download the flyer.
