The Unione Ticinese would like to bring to your attention this reunion for families originally from the Vallemaggia on the 19th-20th of June 2020.
The price of the reunion, with activities, excursions, meal at lunchtime on Saturday the 20th, and a tee shirt of the reunion included is 100 Swiss Francs for adults, 50 Swiss Francs for children under 12.
Valle Maggia Families intends to be a forum for those of us whose ancestors participated in the great migrations from the valley which preceded from about 1850, well into the 1900s. Our ancestors migrated to Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil, among other places. The group is also intended as a space for contact between the descendants of the Valley, and those whose ancestors chose to remain behind. We hope for deepening cultural and international links between all of us.
