DREAM A LITTLE DRAMA
For his first project in the UK, Guillaume Pilet will be in residence at Primary to develop Dream A Little Drama, an initial sketch for a new sculpture-opera-work. His installation will mix classical painting and vernacular folklore, family customs and popular dramaturgy, childhood memories and pre-globalized 90s culture. Within this theatrical set, a performer will act as the artist’s alter ego, using the language of popular culture to introduce elements of Pilet’s cultural autobiography. ©
