Members, family and friends are all very welcome to this outing. We hope you will be happy to visit this fine example of an Industrial Garden Village, founded in 1888 by William Lever for the workers in his soap factory, as he believed in the value of a happy workforce. Lady Lever Art Gallery, the Garden Centre, the Village and Parking are free, though there is a small charge for the Museum. Members wishing to go on an independent walking tour, about one and a half hours, will receive a map of the layout on the day. There is also a pub, The Bridge Inn; they will reserve seats if you send your menu choice before Wednesday 21 June to timerikawood@tiscali.co.uk
